Route Setting Association (RSA) Courses

The Route Setting Association is a not for profit organisation and the representative body for professional Route Setters.  It is committed to promoting best practice for route setting and route setters.

Their courses are for designated route setter rescuers and experienced climbers who want to develop and refine best practice and understand the safety and legal implications of route setting on roped walls and bouldering walls.  RSA Level 1 covers setting on a bouldering wall only, it is not a pre-requisite to attend the Level 2 course of roped climbing walls.
