Welcome to ArrampicA. The meaning of ‘ArrampicA” is from the Italian ‘To Climb’.
Set up in 2001, ArrampicA caters for climbing and mountaineering courses in the English Lake District, Italian Dolomite Mountains and serves indoor climbing facilities with qualifications services for wall staff.
Lakes: Year round climbing, with a vast choice of climbing venues to cater for all levels of experience. ArrampicA is ideally situated to make the most of venues within the Lake District National Park, West Yorkshire and Lancashire with rock faces from 7 metres to 200+ metres, rock types from limestone to Borrowdale volcanic and locations such as; coastal, mountain, inland natural and quarry rock.
Dolomites: Summer mountain acitivies from hut to hut trekking through to personal guiding with ArrampicA BluMountain UIAGM guide team. These courses and holidays, with ArrampicA's commitment to quality and low ratio instruction, offer a personalised and unforgetable experience.
Climbing wall qualifications: With the introduction of the new Climbing Wall Award and ArrampicA's own personalised site-specific award schemes' and services, artificial climbing structure operators can be guaranteed of a level of service and professionalism that is second to none.
